At MASH, we are dedicated to providing our clients with the state-of-the-art and innovative approach to achieve the ultimate healthcare solution – a fully electronic Clinical Information System (eCIS) for the ICU – MEDTRACK GenieTM, planned for release in 2011.

The major change proposed is to move away from the concept of a number of separate information systems based primarily around organisational structures to a situation in which health care professionals are provided access to the one integrated service. The services will include access to records and the functionality needed to support clinical practice. Implementation of these services will lead to a number of important outcomes for:
  • Service users, where automation of existing clinical databases into one integrated system will directly and visibly impact on patient care.
  • Health and care professionals involved directly with patient care and service user care will have a safe, fast, modern IT to support them routinely in their work.
  • Managers, researchers and other professionals not directly involved with patient care to have ready access to high quality, confidential electronic patient records.
Our vision is to provide hospitals with an affordable electronic Clinical Information System, with no upfront capital purchase and a value for money Annual Maintenance Agreement, calculated on the number of critical care units and not charged per bed as it is currently sold by mainly American dominated companies in this specialised field.
